NATHAN GRIMA - A GRADE COACH

​

The Glenunga Football Club is very pleased to announce that

Nathan Grima is returning as our A Grade Senior coach

•

Nathan spent the 2 years as Sturt’s Senior coach and prior to that

as coach of Strathmore in the Victorian EDFL.

•

Nathan, who hails from Tasmania, played at AFL level for 8 years at

North Melbourne and Essendon as well as being a premiership player

at Central District

​

MARK BEECH - A GRADE SENIOR ASSISTANT

​

Mark will again be Senior Assistant coach to Nathan in the A grade in 2023.

•

After a playing career in the 70’s and 80’s at West Adelaide, Mark has spent 6 years at West Adelaide, initially as a Premiership forward line coach and more recently in a game plan, tactics and analysis role

CHRIS ASTON - B GRADE

​

We are very excited to announce our new Reserves (B grade) coach for the Rams is Chris Aston. He joins Glenunga with an impressive elite sports CV

•

Played football at Burnside / Kensington, Payneham Norwood Union, Sturt Juniors and Walkerville 

•

Australian Track and Field Representative and member of the Australian Institute of Sport.  Professional Athletics coach and represented SA in the over 50's cricket National Championships

•

He also has some family connections at the club, with brother Dave and Sister Sarah having been involved in Senior mens and womens and junior boys programs

BRAD DALGLISH - B GRADE ASSISTANT COACH

 

Brad has joined us in 2023 as an assistant coach, and will play a few C Grade games as well

•

He played the majority of his career in the A/B Grade at the Salisbury Football Club, with some time spent in the NT whilst on a Defence Force posting. He brings a combination of great life experience and strong values and character, with a learning mindset and drive for continual improvement

•

Brad will be an important part of our Senior Men's coaching group

SHANE SELWAY - C GRADE

​

Shane Selways will continue coaching C Grade, with assistance from fellow Life Member Andrew Edwards

•

Coached C Grade in 2020 and recently retired from playing (to his wife Sal’s delight!)
